Purpose of this form
One of the missions of The Art of Copyediting (AOC) is to make copyediting (or language) training affordable for everyone in India. For this, AOC has introduced group learning of various sizes.
The purpose of this form is to collect data and thus bring together people with similar needs for taking up the AOC group learning program together at prices they can afford.
Preliminaries to filling this form
This is a very simple form. But you must know your group size before you start filling this form. Please do the following to know your group size:
- Go to Foundational Skills for Employability and Earning (particularly the last FAQ on that page).
- Have a good look at the group-mentoring discount table.
- The payment options indicated in the table (per month, for 3 months) can help you decide what you can afford to pay.
- What you can afford to pay will let you know the group size you must join.
How this form can help you
Suppose 20 people have filled in the form.- If there are 4 editors who prefer mentoring at late evening hours and are looking for a team size of 4 or
- If there are 6 people who prefer mentoring during the day and are looking for a team size of 6,
- I can bring all such people together in two short calls and take the groups forward (i.e., begin training with their concurrence).
- The remaining 10 people will have to wait till more people matching their needs fill in this form.
- I will keep reminding ICF members about the form periodically.
That way, you will be spared the difficulty of forming your own team for learning, and we can get started with the learning as early as possible.
What this form does NOT mean
This form collects information just to help bring people together. Filling in this form does NOT mean that you are enrolled for the training and mentoring program.
