Central Texas Consolidated HS Team
AquaTex Waterpolo Club in cooperation with other Austin-area clubs plans to sponsor a team of high school athletes who do not have a school team to play for this fall. The team would seek games against other consolidated teams throughout Texas and any UIL teams willing to schedule us, including at tournaments in which our team would be allowed to play.

(During the fall UIL high school water polo season there is no USA Water Polo club competition high-school age athletes in Texas. This consolidated team would provide an outlet for those who do not have a high school to play for.)

Details remain open for discussion but the general outline of our plans:
  • AquaTex coaches would lead training and game coaching
  • Families can expect to travel for games outside the Central Texas area
  • All athletes must be currently registered at a Central Texas high school that does not offer UIL water polo
  • If enough athletes we'd plan on having boys' and girls' teams. If not, we'll field a co-ed team
