Welcome to Valencia High School! As a Freshman, you will have a total of 6 classes per semester. In some cases, the only choice that you will make will be whether or not you are placed in honors or regular level coursework. The 6 courses you will have during your freshman year can vary from student to student based on special programs, but in general the structure of courses are as follows:
Course 5 - Health paired with Ethnic Studies/College and Career Seminar OR History (Optional), OR Special Program
Course 6 - Fine Art, Foreign Language, CTE Pathway course, Special Program (Band, Choir, ASB)

*If you have an IEP, the IEP team will determine core subject placement and placement will be further discussed at your matriculation meeting.
