Pre-Medical essentials sessions are intended to give students an overview of the academic and professional requirements for medical school. An overview of the timeline and requirements of the application process is also provided. NOTE: Please sign up for one meeting. Pre-Dental essentials sessions are intended to give students an overview of the academic and professional requirements for dental school. Pre-PA essentials sessions are geared towards students taking undergraduate level coursework at Wayne State in order to apply to any Physician Assistant program in the country. Pre-PA students need to attend an essentials meeting prior to scheduling a one-on-one appointment. Non-WSU students planning to transfer to WSU are welcome to attend. NOTE: These meetings are not an overview of the College of Pharmacy and Health Science Master's in Physician Assistant Studies program.  A reminder email will be sent to those who sign up for the Zoom session 24 hours before the event.

Pre-Nursing essentials sessions are designed to share the essentials of a competitive application to the College of Nursing.  Each session includes suggested resources and experiences that pre-nursing students can use as they prepare their applications. Sessions will be held either via Zoom or in person.  A reminder email will be sent 24 hours before the event.

Pre-Health Science essentials sessions are designed for undergraduate and post-bachelor students interested in the pre-health sciences: pre-medical laboratory science, pre-mortuary science, pre-pharmacy, pre-physical therapy, pre-radiation therapy technology, and pre-radiologic technology. Meetings will cover all aspects of preparing for and applying to the programs. All sessions will be held via Zoom.  A reminder email will be sent 24 hours before the event.
