UPDATE 2/14/24: Due to high volume of applications, all supporting documentation must be submitted to VCRCD staff by March 1st to be considered in round one of funding. Supporting documents include: pump test results, vendor quotes, line-item budget, project maps, last 12 months of energy bills, and proposed timeline. If your supporting documents are received after March 1st 2024, your SWEEP application will be considered in the second round of funding, beginning April 1st.
Ventura County Resource Conservation District (VCRCD) has partnered with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) to administer State Water Efficiency & Enhancement Program (SWEEP) Block Grant Pilot Program grant funds.

Through SWEEP agricultural operations can receive up to $200,000 for the implementation of projects that both conserve water and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions!
