NESD Board Meeting Written Public Comment
To participate in a Northeastern School Board meeting:
* The public is permitted to participate in School Board meetings by submitting written comments through this form.
* The board requires that public participants be residents or taxpayers of this district, or anyone having registered a legitimate interest in a contemplated action of the board, anyone representing a group in the community or school district, any representative of a firm eligible to bid on materials or services solicited by the Board, any district employee, or any district student.
* Participants must include their name, address, and group affiliation, if appropriate.
*Each statement made by a participant will be limited to five minutes, but may be limited to fewer depending on the number of participants.
*All statements must be directed to the presiding officer; no participant may address or question board members individually.
*Written comments that contain inappropriate language and/or personal attacks will not be read publicly during the meeting.
*No participant may speak more than once on the same topic, unless all others who wish to speak on that topic have been heard.
* Participants will have the choice in whether their comments are read aloud during the meeting.
* All comments will be placed on the district website.
