Catechesis of the Good Shepherd "CGS"
Sign up your 3-6 year old for weekly sessions of CGS. 

Located in the south wing of the St. James church basement in Dawson. 

CGS allows children to explore, discover, and take to heart the basic teachings of our faith; ponder Scripture; Understand what is truly happening in the Mass; Enter into a personal relationship with God. This is all done through hands-on learning (no textbooks). Its a Montessori Style approach to religious education. 

There are 2 tracks available. Weekly sessions closely following the faith formation and school calendars with some variations-accounting for the time of day sessions are held, and the nature of the program. This program is inherently liturgical and closely follows the church calendar.

However, please note that because this is a parish-based CGS program, children from the Holy Family Area Faith Community will have priority. If spots are not filled-your child will be "enrolled" in the order in which the registration was submitted.
