Diversity in Engineering (DivE) is a University of Alberta student group advocating for the advocate for the retention, inclusion, and interests of systemically marginalized groups in engineering. Some things we do:

• Organize several major events throughout the year (e.g. panels, networking events, the GEER Week Drag Show) to ultimately foster a more inclusive environment within engineering
• Maintain a welcoming community through small social events and shared spaces (like our clubroom on MEC 5!)
• Run some fun/interesting smaller projects (e.g. bake sales, social media posts, collaborations with other clubs) that are easy to get involved in
• Host weekly online club meetings where anyone is welcome to drop in

We welcome all University of Alberta students (undergraduate and graduate) and staff members, regardless of whether or not you are part of the Faculty of Engineering.

Once we receive your form submission we'll send you an email explaining a bit more about our team, and invite you to our Discord, which is where you'll be able to see what's going on with us and get involved (if you want)! We're excited to have you on board :)
