We are excited to announce the 2019 annual STAY Summer Institute July 18th-21st at Hungry Mother Lutheran Retreat Center in Marion, VA! We hope you can join us for what promises to be a weekend full of fun, friendship, collective learning and growth.

Registration will close Friday, July 12th with a maximum of 60 attendees. Please take a few moments to fill out the questions below with as much detail as possible to help us give you the best SSI experience.

The STAY Summer Institute (SSI) is STAY's largest gathering. This event is for 14-30 year old's from Central Appalachia (includes Eastern Kentucky, East Tennessee, West Virginia, Southwest Virginia, and Western North Carolina.).

STAY is also committed to creating inclusive and safe spaces for all participants with various experiences within Central Appalachia. Any personal identification information that we are asking (but may not be requiring) is to allow us to make sure we are honoring STAY's commitment to represent and create space for all young Appalachians from the region, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, abilities, or background.

We do not want childcare to be a barrier to you attending the summer institute, we will provide childcare if needed and children are welcome to participate in any part of the institute. If you do need childcare please tell us for what ages.

If mark that you are interested in joining the steering committee, we will send you a nomination form that will be due during the Summer Institute on Saturday July 20th at noon. Summer Institute attendees will vote on the nominations!

The 2019 STAY Regional Gathering Fee for 4 days of meals and lodging is based on a sliding scale from $35-150. When participants pay their SSI fee, their fees also cover their STAY membership for the year, allowing them to receive STAY newsletters, vote for steering committee members, and much more. No one will be turned away from attending. Please offer what you feel comfortable paying. Your registration will not be considered complete until you pay or receive a scholarship. How much do you expect to contribute? Please choose out of the options below. *

Full SSI Contribution ($95-$150). Recommended for fully-employed or those who are able to gain sponsorship from work or school, allowing STAY to use more funds for others' scholarships

Majority SSI Contribution ($60-$95). Recommended for those who are able to pay for the majority of their SSI experience.

Partial SSI Contribution ($35-60). Recommended if you have access to some funds and want to contribute to funding your SSI experience.
