Our Business Majors’ capstone course provides nonprofits/community groups with free consulting services. Potential areas may include:

***Business plan development

***Marketing consulting

***Basic financial/fundraising consulting

TIMELINE OF EVENTS FOR EACH FALL SEMESTER*:

-August 19: Application forms from nonprofit organizations are due

-Early September: Nonprofit org. gives students a presentation about its mission, community roots, needs, etc.

-September-November: Representative from the org. is available 1-3 times per month to talk with students as they work to assess its practices/plans for HR, marketing, accounting, etc.

-Late November/early December: Organization representatives attend a formal presentation by the students – a reception of the business plan.

-Late April/early May: Organization representatives attend a formal presentation by the students – a reception of the business plan.
