IPA's Ethics Committee serves in a consultative capacity only. Not all information pertaining to consultations shall be held in confidence. The exceptions are mandatory reporting laws required in Idaho. Consultations are available for licensed psychologists and/or IPA members only.

IPA's Ethics Committee does not provide legal advice. For any legal matters, we recommend a consultation with an attorney that is familiar with applicable state laws in Idaho. At times it may be prudent to contact the licensing board and/or a malpractice insurance company.

IPA is not a covered entity under HIPAA; consequently, the Committee's communication process is not HIPAA compliant. Please be mindful not to include identifiable patient information.
