Lacombe Composite High School BeeWise program are pleased to offer a Beginners Beekeeping 101 course for beekeepers that desire to set up beehives in Central Alberta. The 3 hour intensive course needs to be taken by Lacombe citizens interested in setting up 2 beehives on their properties. The course will offer individuals the essential information needed to begin or continue beekeeping. The course will be taught by BeeWise individuals on Wednesday April 24th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at Lacombe Composite High School, 5628 56 Ave, for the first 30 applicants. The cost is $75 for new registrations and $50 for returning registrations. The workshop includes a free workbook, certificate, PID/Alberta Apiculturalist registration info, mentorship opportunities and a year membership with Central Alberta Beekeeping Association.
