The NYU adjunct union, ACT-UAW Local 7902 is bargaining a new contract this year.  Our current contract has been extended to October 31st, 2022.  We are fighting hard for a significant pay raise, stronger reappointment rights, pay for training and other duties, better benefits, health insurance, and protection against course cancellation- the fair contract that we deserve!  

Your solidarity and engagement are crucial to winning this fight!  Our success at the bargaining table depends on YOU, and on the full support of union membership.

Do you want to observe a bargaining session and/or testify about your experience working at NYU?  If you testify, you may speak about your pay, uncompensated work outside of class, health insurance (eligibility/affordability), workplace conditions, reappointment rights or give some other account that demonstrates mistreatment by the university.  To allay potential concerns you may have, retaliation for attending or speaking at a bargaining session is legally forbidden -- it’s a federal, state, and city crime to retaliate against a worker for union activity.
