Adoption Application
This is the form for adopting a rabbit from Heaven on Earth Rabbit Rescue in Cookeville, TN. Filling this application out does not guarantee adoption. Please read ALL.

Adoption fees are as follows:
Single rabbit: $80
Bonded pair: $115

When a rabbit is adopted from us, the primary caregiver must be a responsible adult.  The rabbit should be treated as an integral part of the family, i.e., no group ownership (such as a classroom pet).  We do NOT adopt rabbits as pets for children.  The rabbit must be wanted by the entire family.

Adopters of Heaven on Earth Rabbit Rescue rabbits must understand that our rabbits are to live as household companions.  This means that they must have their primary living space indoors, and must spend every night indoors.  During the daytime, adopters can allow their rabbits supervised outdoor daytime exercise.  If this is the case, the rabbit must be provided with an area with secure fencing, and adequate supervision.  

All rabbits come spayed or neutered and their own litterbox. We will also provide some pellets for a transition to the pellets you will use. You must be responsible for unlimited hay and daily greens.

Rabbits can live up to 10 years and are a commitment!

Each rabbit must be kept indoors in a circle pen and free roam when allowed. We request a rug underneath for the bun(s) to be on (this protects their feet and your floor!)

As the pets are rescues, there is no guarantee they will be of a specific breed. It is our best guess on breed but may not be totally accurate.

You may submit this application even if you do not have a particular pet in mind that you would like to adopt.  Placement is not guaranteed, but we will contact you if an animal comes in matching your preference and your application is approved. We prefer to base adoptions on which rabbit(s) we know best will fit your single or family dynamic type!
