Fall 2020/Spring 2021 Virtual Merit Badge Counselor Interest
The Heart of New England Council is organizing a virtual merit badge university to provide advancement opportunities to Scouts while they are home during this time of social distancing.

For a Fall 2020 class you may schedule your classes in a manner that suits your schedule. We are looking to keep the classes between 11/12/20 and 12/23/20. If this time frame doesn't work for you, please note below that our upcoming Spring 2021 session 02/1/21-4/30/21 would be better for you. We will be contacting you after holidays to confirm your classes and create the registration.

A Zoom account will be provided, along with a roster to track attendance and requirements. Electronic advancement will be emailed out by the office at the conclusion of the class.

Most school periods are between 45-90 minutes each. Plan to include a short break or two during your session. Counselors will be asked to sign in 15 minutes before the session starts and stick around for 15 minutes after the conclusion to answer any questions.
