The CSF believes it is important to not only invest in services for children, but also to invest in the organizations that provide those services.

Initial investments in Capacity Building can be requested for either staff capacity (trainings for the organization's staff with a mental health or social-emotional focus), or for organizational capacity (such as organizational change initiatives, certifications in treatment frameworks, or strategic/business planning).

The focus of Capacity Building funds is on building the capacity of the applying agency.  If your agency provides training and support to others, the agencies that are interested in receiving the training/support should be the agency that applies.  

Unfortunately, Capacity Building cannot support annual training requirements, meals/snacks, or salaries at this time.

Capacity Building applications received on or before July 15, 2024 will be considered for a contract start date of October 1, 2024.
