FOY's Youth and Children in Leadership is designed to equip and strengthen teens and young adults with opportunities to expand and refine their communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills while developing healthy interpersonal relationships with others in their communities.

Members will be expected to meet with on a bimonthly occasion for lectures, presentations, and various team-building and self-promoting exercises. Members will also have the opportunity to obtain leadership positions and effectively lead a team in various community projects.

If you are someone who is looking for more ways to be involved, including opportunities to explore and utilize your skills, then FOY Foundation's Youth and Children in Leadership Program is for you.
This program is individualized to your unique skill set and built around what qualities and skills you would like to develop and improve. Our goal is to equip you with the experience and skills that you can take with you on your future endeavors.


Application Date: July 1, 2023 to July 31, 2023
Acceptance announced by: August 15, 2023
Start Program Date: September 1, 2023
End Program Date: May 31, 2024

Expectations:
1-year commitment once being accepted into the program
Bimonthly in-person meetings for team-building exercises and leadership development
Assume a leadership position within the program
Attendance of fundraising events throughout the year
Attend the annual FOY Foundation end-of-the year Gala
