HELLO and welcome to the ONLINE Performing Arts School at bergenPAC!!

Classes have been combined and geared to offer accessibility and visibility, giving the students opportunities to join classes with ease. It is a great way to engage our students and have a sense of unity, and an outlet to learn and gather online as we go through this together. These online classes are a way for us to continue to provide top quality performing arts education, while conforming to our current world situation. We are positive that students are going to enjoy themselves and really learn through this process. Our faculty for the Online instruction are our world renowned faculty from the PAS @ bergenPAC.

We know space is limited, in many cases, for both teacher and student. This challenge gives us an opportunity to adapt our instruction to the restrictions of the space. We may not be able to go across the floor, but we may be able to focus more on strengthening, conditioning, cardio and other forms of physical movement in size-restricted spaces.

Our theater classes will offer storytelling and reading, memorization of lines or staging, fun games around the house that identify staging vocabulary, have students perform for each other a song they have been working on, or create a scene or a play. Classes will have a "how to from home" feel to them. The goal is to keep the students learning by engaging them and having fun.

The process for families for Theater and Dance classes:
Includes up to 25 classes per week for the duration of our Online instructional period.
• Once registered, families are contacted and sent payment process.
• Once payment has been received, the family will then be sent the links and passwords for classes.
• Families are invited to Google Classroom and are also sent daily links to classes.
• Online Classes administered through ZOOM - Families need to be able to download ZOOM Free.
• After the classes, select ZOOM video will be added to the Google Classroom

The process for families for private lessons:
• Once registered, families are contacted and sent payment process.
• Once payment has been received, the family will then schedule the private lesson.
• Online Classes administered through ZOOM - Families need to be able to download ZOOM Free.
