Frontier's new and innovative
Big Picture Academy is education reimagined- and we NEED your input!! Starting this September our BPA students (grades 9 and 10) will leave the school building twice a week to learn from community members by exploring jobs and careers in their community, visiting community businesses, talking to professionals who are employed in fields of interest to the students, and even participating in internship or shadow day experiences while fulfilling their NYS Regents coursework inside the classroom. Our students are motivated to learn relevant work skills that are important to employers and business owners.
If your place of work can help us to build relevance in learning for youth in our community and develop partnerships that are mutually beneficial, please complete the survey so we can connect with you and discuss further. Our local businesses and community members can thrive by supporting learners that have a deep interest in developing skills and gaining knowledge within specific fields. Our belief is that deep learning takes place outside of classroom walls. We are looking to create opportunities for students to do exactly that with support of their teachers and business partners like you!
We are currently building our network of people that can benefit from having an impact on youth in our community. Please help us to develop life-long learners within our amazing Western New York community. We look forward to strengthening our local area through education and partnership.
