This is a small initial assessment for lifting and moving. A passing score will be at least an 80%, which is 12 out of 15 questions. After passing this assessment, the EMT must demonstrate adequate use of all of our lifting and moving equipment. The EMT must demonstrate competency with lifting and lowering both stretchers and all moveable parts of each stretcher, how to assemble and carry the stairchair, and how to operate and manipulate the scoop stretcher.
