Writing Assessment Data - CALIBRATION EXERCISE
Instructions:
Read these samples! As we calibrate, keep an open mind and look at what is on the rubric and what is in the writing sample.

Please also keep in mind the difference between "words and phrases" and "sentences". These are important distinctions! Remember that according to ACTFL, teachers are considered sympathetic. That means that if we *think* we know what they mean, we do!

HOW TO: It is easier to read the samples on a Computer Screen, not phone.   Control+ (Hold down ctrl and the plus sign) makes the samples larger and easier to read.

There are 8 samples and a place to put your score for each.

When you are done, take a look at the responses!
