Get Involved in JASPA!  The JASPA organization is thriving due to the dedication of leaders representing each of our 27 U.S. Jesuit institutions and all of the functional areas within Student Affairs. We are seeking nominations for the following position:

 - Vice-President of Networking, Service, and Recognition

JASPA VICE-PRESIDENT OF NETWORKING, SERVICE & RECOGNITION (2 Year Term)

· Manage the nomination and application process by which Executive Board, Committee Chairs and Functional
   Area Network Lead positions are filled.
·  Maintain an updated list of all members serving in leadership roles with JASPA including from Executive
   Board positions to committee members.
· Oversee the Networking and Recognition & Awards committee chairs.
· Maintain regular communication with chairpersons on progress of projects/programs as outlined in the  
  Functional Area of Networking and Recognition & Awards committee charter documents.
· Collaborate with committee chairs on the setting of goals for committees and reporting on progress for
  JASPA annual report.
· Update Executive Board regularly on committee activities.
· Attend JASPA Summer retreat and monthly JASPA E-board meeting

· Networking Committee
· Oversee planning and promotion of Club JASPA and newcomers networking events during the annual JASPA
   spring conference and assist in the coordination of the JASPA-sponsored mass.
·  Collaborate with the Chair, Social Media, to promote JASPA member involvement in JASPA-related social
   media communication.
·  Outreach to other national organizations (ASACCU, NASPA, ACPA, etc.) to determine collaborative
    opportunities for JASPA
 
· Recognition & Awards Committee
· Manage the development and implementation of criteria and rubric for objective review of annual and monthly
   JASPA award submissions.
· Develop communication plan promoting the submission process, timeline and criteria for annual JASPA awards
    with members
· Oversee selection process for annual JASPA awards
· Establish Public Relations efforts surrounding annual JASPA awards recipients, for the JASPA organization,
   and for the individual campuses of award recipients
· Determine other opportunities for ongoing recognition of JASPA members, beyond the annual JASPA awards

Applications are due by June 18, 2021 at 5PM (EST).

**In addition to the application and resume/CV which must be submitted, a letter of support/nomination must be sent by the SSAO/CSAO at your institution to the JASPA Secretary, Julie Orio (orioj@usfca.edu).**  

Newly appointed Vice President(s) take office at the start of Summer 2021 and serve for a two-year term.
