dynaMIT Summer 2024 Application
dynaMIT is a free-of-cost STEM summer day program aimed at students with low income and/or low exposure to STEM. The program is located on the MIT campus and transportation to and from the program is NOT provided.

We accept students who will be entering 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grades in the 2024-2025 School Year (must be at least 11 years old by the start of dynaMIT). To reach as many students as possible, we will only be considering new students, not returning students.

Applications are now due Monday, April 1st, at 11:59 PM EST. 

Any applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Final decisions will be released after the deadline.


Each year's curriculum is unique from previous years, and there is a separate curriculum for rising 6th/7th graders and rising 8th/9th graders. The programs for each age group will take place on the following dates:

For rising 6th and 7th graders, the program will take place from AUGUST 19 - 23, 2024.
For rising 8th and 9th graders, the program will take place from AUGUST 26 - 30, 2024.

Students: Clicking the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen will take you to the next page. Please fill out Sections 1 and 2, then have your parents complete the rest of the application.

Parents: Please fill out Sections 3, 4, and 5, then help your student review the entire application before submitting. We ask you do not change any part of the application filled out by your child. If you cannot fill out the form in one sitting, we recommend you write your answers into a separate document first.
