By placing an order, you agree to our Rental Policy Agreement. You are responsible for all policies whether you read them or not. All package items are for RENT ONLY and are property of Cards To The Yard unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to photograph our displays/items and use for advertising and any other purposes. Install times typically take place between 8am–10am the day of the event or 8pm-10pm the evening before the event and will be picked up at either 8am-10am or 8pm-10pm the following day (these times may vary per order request and per time allotted).
PAYMENT
• Payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm your reservation. No booking will be confirmed without complete payment of the invoice created.
• Payment of an invoice constitutes as acceptance of our Rental Policy agreement and all of its terms and conditions. This is explicitly stated on all invoices.
• Any unpaid invoices will be cancelled if they remain unpaid no later than 48 hours (2 days) PRIOR to the install.
• In the event Cards To The Yard is provided with incorrect information regarding the location of the installation address, and is unable to gain access at the time of installation, an additional $50 fee will be charged to move the display to the correct address.
• The prices that we charge for our rental and installation services are listed on the initial quote requested. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.
MILEAGE
We include 10 miles (from our locations near Big Bend and Balm Riverview Rd in Riverview, FL) in all of our packages. Anything above 10 miles has an additional charge as listed below, and is subject to change. We will only install up to 35 miles from our location unless the owner of Cards To The Yard agrees to make special accommodations.
•11-15 miles=$10 fee
•15-20 miles=$20 fee
•20-35 miles=$30 fee
•36+ miles= need to seek a local vendor unless agreed upon with owner.
RUSH REQUESTS: SIGNS BOOKED LESS THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO INSTALL IS SUBJECT TO A $40 RUSH FEE
CORRECTIONS/ADDITIONS TO INSTALLED YARD CARD SIGNS
We reserve the right to make adjustments to the yard card sign anytime after install at our discretion.
DAMAGED/MISSING/STOLEN RENTED DISPLAY SIGNS & RENTAL ITEMS
• Damages to our rental items will result in an additional fee. That fee is determined based on the extent of incurred damages.
• Please do not move the lawn display or its pieces. Moving yard card displays will result in a violation fee.
• All rented items are to be returned in their original condition, with all contents included. Any missing or damaged items will be billed to the customer for the appropriate amount.
• We ask that you take pride in your lawn display/teepee party set up and treat all items with respect.
• Due to safety concerns, please DO NOT allow anyone, ESPECIALLY children to play on the lawn greeting display signs. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting, or playing on it. The signs are Made out of plastic and will not hold any weight. Please discourage all persons from playing on or around the display.
• Items that go missing will result in a replacement fee. Fee determined based on the replacement value of items missing.
• Please do not throw lawn display items in the garbage or vandalize our signs. Even if you do not like the display gift given to you, these items ARE our business. It is best to notify the honoree to not harm the display, as you are still responsible for it. If for some reason, you would prefer to have your display taken down earlier than the scheduled time, contact us via social media or by phone 813.644.2656, and we will make all attempts to pick it up early.
• Please DO NOT attach balloons to any part of your lawn display. Balloons get hot in the sun. If a hot balloon blows against our signs, they may become damaged. If melted mylar or balloon material has damaged any of the inventory, full retail price will be billed to the client.
CANCELLATIONS
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking and invoice payment, and at the time of cancellation are a minimum of 2 days preceding the installation time will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee.
• Cancellations made less than 30 days in advance are subject to a cancellation fee of 25% of the reservation total and a partial refund will be issued.
• Cancellations can be made until 72 hours before the installation time and are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of the reservation total and a partial refund will be issued.
• Cancellations requested less than 72 hours prior to the time of installation are subject to a cancellation fee equaling 50% of the reservation total, and no refund will be issued.
•Cancellations for Day-of Service are subject to a cancellation fee that equals up to 50% of the reservation total.
•In the event of inclement weather, or an unforeseen uncontrollable event that hinders Cards To The Yard to install the confirmed rental, 100% refund is available to the customer, or in lieu of a refund, the installation can be re-scheduled to a later date, and for the inconvenience an additional day will be added to the re-scheduled rental free of charge. This agreement outlines the provision of yard card installation services by Cards To The Yard. In the event of inclement weather impacting the installation timeline, the Service Provider will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
REFUNDS
• No refunds will be issued for canceled Day-Of Rush Ordered Bookings.
• No refunds will be given due to the client giving us the wrong address, wrong gate code, wrong access information, or no address posted on the house, curb, or mailbox at the installation location.
• No refunds will be issued due to the homeowner requesting us to remove the display, due to being denied access to a gated community, due to any animals (i.e., dogs loose in the yard, etc.) that prevent rental installation, if the homeowner, business owner, or security officer prevents us from setting up, or requires us to pick up the display early, and if there is no grassy area located in the front yard and special accommodations were not also discussed at the time of booking.
CARDS TO THE YARD PROPERTY & RIGHTS
• All elements of the yard card display are for rental only and are property of Cards To The Yard. Please be aware a company sign with Cards To The Yard will be placed in the lawn with the yard card display, please do not move or hide our sign.
• All elements of the teepee tent rental are for rental only unless party favors/custom items are purchased as an add on.
• We reserve the right to photograph your display/teepee set up and use it for marketing or any other purposes.
• Cards To The Yard reserves the right to politely decline orders that are political, controversial, lewd, disrespectful or that do not fit the celebratory nature of our business.
LIABILITY
• Cards To The Yard and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the rental period, not responsible or liable for any damage done to the lawn by the yard card display, for example: holes put in the grass, damage to underground sprinkler system, etc., not responsible for local city ordinances violations, HOA ordinance violations or landlord violations. Please check with your local city/town/HOA/landlords for any local ordinances in relation to yard card displays.
SHIPPING POLICY
• Cards To The Yard installs all rentals at the confirmed rental location, and Cards To The Yard picks up the rental at the end of the rental period. Rentals cannot be shipped.
CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY
• Cards To The Yard, respects your privacy. We do not sell or share our renter’s or surprised party’s information to third parties.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at our sole discretion.
