Protege Master Classes - JAZZ IT UP
The Ipswich City Council Protege Master Classes, Studio 188 and Daniel Philippe are seeking expressions of interest from Ipswich music students in grade 8 - 12 to attend a 10 week jazz music technique workshop series.

Students will attend 10-week workshop series facilitated by local musician Daniel Philippe, culminating in a live public performance at Studio 188 to showcase what they've learn in front of family and friends. Participants will be given tuition on reading from a lead sheet, improvisation, aural skills, ensemble playing, jazz theory, styles and appreciation, as well as tips and tricks on live performance.

Workshops are FREE and open to all musical instrument types.
