What Were You Wearing: This exhibition aims to challenge the belief that the clothes a person wears during a sexual assault is a contributing factor. Too often, survivors are asked what they were wearing at the time of the assault, as well as other questions that lend to placing blame on the survivor of the assault. Sexual assault is never the fault of anyone but the person who chose to perpetrate.
The SAPR office will use these submissions anonymously to obtain clothing closest matched to the descriptions submitted for an impactful display during Sexual Assault Awareness Month on installation. No names are provided, and only details provided in this form will be used.
