(Winter) Introduction Training DKV Euros
Hi!

This is the sign-up form for the introduction trainings of DKV Euros.

You do not need any kayak experience, we only require you to be able to swim. We have three kind of trainings in the week, for which you can sign up in the week 6-12th of February and 13-19th of February:

Monday (18:00-19:30): In this training we will have several wooden planks stretching over to pool to practice kayaking technique and endurance. Next to that we will either do some additional fitness exercises at the side of the pool.
  • Where: Indoor swimming pool at the Sports Centre (Campus UTwente, De Hems 20)
  • What to bring: Swimwear, t-shirt (optional), a towel.
Tuesday (18:00-19:00): We will do fitness exercises and train with the kayak ergometers for core, power, endurance and technique.
  • Where: Watersportscomplex (Auke Vleerstraat 99)
  • What to bring: sportclothes
Wednesday (18:30-20:00): A combination of polo oriented stability, paddle and ball handling exercises in boats.
  • Where: Indoor swimming pool at the Sports Centre  (Campus UTwente, De Hems 20)
  • What to bring:  Swimwear, t-shirt (optional), a towel.
We recommend to try out different kind of trainings, to see all sides of our association :) On Monday we always have dinner and drinks after the training at the Watersportcomplex (Auke Vleerstraat 99). You do not need to join the training for this, everyone is welcome :) To cover the costs for the dinner, we ask for a small fee of € 3,00 per dinner. Already a spoiler: during our drinks on Monday 6th of February a pubquiz will be held, so even more fun!
