The Town Council is working to improve traffic in Chapel Hill and wants to hear from residents to learn about their traffic experience. The most recent Community Survey found that traffic was the most important topic for Town Leaders to address and the Town of Chapel Hill is asking these types of questions of residents in an upcoming series of surveys and focus groups.

Moving forward, the Town will use the ideas and feedback from these sessions and surveys, as well as best practices from other cities, to address traffic concerns. The initiative is part of the Town’s efforts to build a Connected Community, one of the Town’s Strategic Goals.

When/Where will the focus groups be held?
- We will try to hold focus groups in convenient locations based on where folks live. We also anticipate holding a few at the Chapel Hill Public Library and/or Town Hall.

- Focus Groups will be scheduled during the month of September.
