We would like to inform you that the data collected with this questionnaire will be managed according to the Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). GDPR ensures the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. According to it, the processing will be carried out in accordance with the rights and fundamental freedoms, as well as the dignity of the data subject, with particular reference to confidentiality, personal identity, and the right to the protection of personal data.
In accordance with Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679, we hereby provide you with the following information:
- Purpose of Processing: The processing we intend to carry out is for research and study within the university context;
- Data Collection: The questions in this questionnaire aim to collect data regarding age, educational background, living situation, and user preferences regarding the use of smart devices and environmental issues, which are deemed strictly necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purpose;
- Anonymity and Data Analysis: Collected data will be anonymized, and analysis will be conducted for the purpose of publication in scientific articles;
- Data Retention: The data will be retained for a maximum of 5 years, after which they will be completely deleted;
- Data Ownership: The data will remain in possession of researchers at the University of Brescia and will not be transferred to third parties.
Please note that the provision of data is mandatory, and failure to provide them may result in the inability to pursue the aforementioned purposes.
