WMWP Virtual Summer Leadership Institute 2021 Application Form
This program will meet either online via Zoom, Monday – Friday, July 5 - 16, 2021, 8:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. An Orientation Meeting will take place via Zoom at a time TBD towards the end of the school year. and there will be three school-year follow-up meetings on dates TBD.

In assembling a cohort of up to 8 teachers for the Summer Leadership Institute, the selection committee will prioritize diversity across gender, language, class, and culture, as well as across disciplines and grade levels.

The process is as follows:

1. In addition to completing the form below, applicants should submit a current resume and a recommendation letter from a colleague, department head, or principal describing your teaching assignment, contributions to the school, and leadership potential. These items may be e-mailed to wmwp@english.umass.edu (subject: Summer Leadership Institute Application) or mailed to Western Massachusetts Writing Project, E452 South College, University of Massachusetts, 150 Hicks Way, Amherst, MA 01003.

2. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and applicants should hear within 30 days.

3. Formal acceptance letters will be mailed.
