1. Our anticipated date for the race is the weekend of October 26, 2024. There is a chance that the date will move to the weekend of December 14. We hope to have this finalized by April 1, at which time we will announce the specific location and open registration.
2. We are still in the process of finalizing permits for the event, and we do not want to take anyone's money until the details of the race are finalized. That said, we know racers like to plan schedules months in advance, and as race directors we want to make sure that anyone who wants to participate is able to earmark the date on their calendar. Accordingly, this year we are opening PRE-REGISTRATION for the event. You can express your interest in racing by completing this form. When we are ready to open registration, we will reach out to everyone who has completed the form 72 hours before we open registration widely, to give these teams a window to claim their slot. You will not be asked to pay anything until this registration period opens. If the field reaches capacity through pre-registration, we will send out registration invitations in the order that teams registered.
3. We are expecting significant interest in this race and we may need to cap the field, depending on our final permitting agreements. So, please have your full team ready to register at that time or be prepared to sign up for all of the slots you expect to use; we cannot hold slots for additional team members once the event is at capacity.
4. All participants must be a member of the US Adventure Racing Association. A single-event license gives you access to supplemental event insurance; with an annual membership, racers also get access to pro-deal discounts for hundreds of premier brands through ExpertVoice in addition to discounts on training and coaching services with USARA-affiliated AR-focused coaches.
