SABERS AWARDS 2021-22: Dr. Fukuda Scholar Athlete, Outstanding Athlete
Hello, high school Sabers athletes. It's awards time! Even though we had limited play due to COVID restrictions, the Sabers athletic department would like to present the two traditional major Sabers awards: the Dr. Fukuda Scholar Athlete Award and the Sabers Outstanding Athlete Award. Do you recognize a young Sabers softball coach? Of course you do - she hasn't changed a bit!)

AWARDS PRESENTATION: June 2, 2022 (Thursday), 15:45-16:30, courtyard
Sandwiches and drink provided by SISPA. Two main awards - female and male for each - presented at the beginning, followed by eating and socializing. No slideshow or speeches.

ドクター福田表彰選手賞  Dr. Fukuda Scholar Athlete award
男女１または２名ずつ選ばれます。いわゆる文武両道を修めた選手に贈られます。ふたつ以上のバーシティーチームに参加し、かつ、年間を通じ、高い学力・成績を維持し、スポーツ以外にも、生徒会やクラブ、行事、ボランティア活動などにも積極的に関わっている選手に授与されます。Sabers female and male student athletes who have achieved high academic levels and have contributed to school and community service while a member of at least 2 varsity teams. The recipients of this top award show that one can maintain high academic standards and contribute to the community while participating in sports.

SABERS OUTSTANDING ATHLETE description
セイバーズ最優秀スポーツ選手賞  Sabers Outstanding Athlete award
男女各一名ずつ選ばれます。年間を通じふたつ以上のバーシティーチームに参加し、スポーツ技能に優れ、リーダーシップを発揮し、努力を惜しまず、そのスポーツに取り組む姿勢で周囲を引き付け、なおかつ、学業をおろそかにすることなく、学校内外の種々の活動にも積極的に参加する選手に授与されます。Sabers female and male student athletes who have shown a high level of athletic skill, team leadership, and personal determination as a member of at least 2 varsity teams.
