24th Street Trees Appeals Hearing: Public Comment Video
If you would like to make public comment via a personal, impactful pre-made video, please complete this form!
On Wednesday July 15, the San Francisco Board of Appeals will make a decision on the fate of 24th Street's trees. The Board of Appeals hearing will start at 5p, and will be held virtually via Zoom (it will NOT be held in person - it will be ONLINE and by TELEPHONE ONLY). If you attend this hearing, you will have the opportunity to make public comment. Typically, public comment is limited to 3 minutes per person. However, because of the high interest in this case, the Board may limit public comment to 2 minutes per person.
If you attend the hearing via Zoom, there are three ways to make public comment: you may appear via video (i.e. the camera on your computer); you may speak via telephone; or you may share a presentation from a computer (for example, a video).
Many people are uncomfortable with public speaking, and some are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with Zoom. Because of this, members of the 24th Street community are coming together to create 2 minute video presentations to give at this hearing. You may make and present your own, or you can get help with making and/or presenting them.
MAKE SURE YOUR VOICE IS HEARD! This is the LAST opportunity to speak for these trees. Thank you!
