Community Foundation for Mason County Youth Advisory Council Application
The Youth Advisory Council is a “youth as grant makers” project of the Community Foundation for Mason County. The YAC is made up of student representatives from Mason County schools and is supported by an adult advisor. The YAC engages young people in solving real problems affecting their communities and peers. YAC members help set policy and guide distribution of $10,000 a year in grants to promising youth related projects in Mason County. The YAC also serves as Mason County’s own local panel of experts regarding youth issues and conduct a youth needs assessment of Mason County high school students every three years.

If you are interested in applying to join the YAC, please complete this application by Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Applicants will be contacted in April of 2022 about the status of their application. If you have any questions about the YAC, please feel free to contact the YAC Advisor, Monique Selimos at mselimos@cffmc.org.
