Open Letter to COP25 Presidency on the Future of Global Climate Action in the UNFCCC

This open letter expresses support to the COP25 Presidency for their strong focus on bringing climate action by cities, regions, businesses, investors, scientists, and others into the Santiago COP. It also expresses support for the Presidency to seek an outcome at COP25 that ensures the continuation and improvement of "Global Climate Action" in the UNFCCC after 2020, when current arrangements expire.

The letter will be published online and presented to COP25 President Minister Carolina Schmidt in advance of the pre-COP meetings in Costa Rica the week of October 8, 2019.
