"Beds United" Guest Registration
Visiting the Festival? Then why not stay with one of our Citizen Hosts.

As a guest you will be welcomed to the festival and the Beds United project, staying in one of the estates, towns and villages which make up the city of Milton Keynes.  Our hosts are offering a minimum of 1 nights' stay, including a tour of the hosts residential area. Hosts and guests may also wish to meet up at the festival campus or make other arrangements together.

Milton Keynes' unique layout, with many residential areas behind trees and green spaces, means some visitors wonder where people live. Beds United is a way for visitors to find out! The project has been commissioned by MK Council, funded by Arts Council England, and is programmed and curated by experimental architectural practice raumlaborberlin.

How will Beds United work?
The Festival team will pair up hosts and guests, arrange a pre visit Skype phone call with the host and guest and provide a central meeting place at  the festival campus in Central MK.

No money will change hands as part of this project, our hosts will be reimbursed for with any costs for food or laundry. All you need to do is be open to meeting new people, spending some time with your host in their community. The festival team will be commissioning photographic portraits of each host and guest. We also invite you as a Beds United Guest to record your experience in the form of a postcard. You may also want to record your stay in other ways ( E.g an online blog or an article) -we are very open to hearing your ideas.

Please note the following:
* The AFCUL team may not be able to offer all those who would like to be a guest a stay with a host, but will let you know  as soon as we can if we are oversubscribed.

* Hosts and guests will need to sign a Host and Guest agreement before their stay and will need to send a copy of their passport, driving licence or similar ID.

Once you have completed the form. You will need to send a photo of your passport, driving license or similar ID to the Beds United email address: bedsunited.afcul@gmail.com

Once we have received this, we will pair you with a host and arrange a phone call between the Host/ Guest and Beds United Producers: Ursula or Rachel. This is so that you have an opportunity to discuss anything before your visit.
