About Us
Impact Without Contact is a federally registered non-profit organization founded in 2019. Our mission is to make volunteering easily accessible to youth, especially during the pandemic (hence the name Impact Without Contact). We believe that everyone can make an impact, and that no impact is too small.

Impact Without Contact's volunteer opportunities fall under two categories: our cohort initiatives, and opportunities found on our volunteer portal. Cohort initiatives are volunteer initiatives held by our executive team, such as our podcast Tell My Story which was put together by a team of dedicated volunteers, led by an executive. We currently have 3 cohorts: Education, Care Centres, and Public Health; each cohort executes volunteer initiatives centered around their respective field. Opportunities found on our portal are volunteer opportunities from our partner organizations, and include anything from volunteering at a hospital to sending cards to care centres.

As of September 2021, Impact Without Contact has 400+ registered volunteers residing in 10 different countries, 21 partners (including hospitals and shelters across Ontario), and has given out 3000+ volunteer hours.

What is Impact Tutoring?
Impact Tutoring is a free, online, one-on-one tutoring service brought to you by Impact Without Contact. Our program recruits volunteer tutors who will gain volunteer hours for tutoring, and tutees from grades 1-11, who can be tutored by older students. We believe that learning should not have any barriers or restrictions, and can be a mutually fulfilling process for both tutors and tutees. If you would like to be tutored or register your child for tutoring, please fill out this short form.

The third term of Impact Tutoring will run from April to late June, so you or your child will be paired with a tutor until then. After this, you will either remain paired with the same tutor, or continue weekly sessions with a new tutor.

We will update you in 1-2 weeks on the status of your registration, and match you with a qualified student tutor who has applied to our program.
