Pupil Voice Survey - Reading at SPS
Welcome to Stokenchurch Primary School’s Pupil Voice reading survey. There are 17 questions which should hopefully only take you 5-10 minutes to answer.

Older children should be able to complete this survey independently, but younger children or children who have more difficulty with reading should complete it with the help of an adult.

If an adult is helping, you should make sure that the survey represents the feelings and opinions of the child (try not to be tempted to guide your child to a particular answer, but let them decide for themselves).

Please answer all questions as honestly as possible. We will not collect any identifying information linking your answers to you.

None of the questions are to make judgements about any particular practices or feelings towards reading in regards to individuals, but are to give us an overview on and measure of current attitudes towards and engagement with reading at home and in school, alongside giving us guidance about areas we could improve upon.

By gaining an understanding of where we are at as a school community with reading, we are hoping to be able to further improve our ethos as a ‘reading school’, and instil a greater love of reading in all of our children.

Finally, if you have any children in other year groups, please ask them to complete the survey as well.
