Terms:
- Minimum 3 month residency. Tenancy is month-month after that and a required 30 days notice of leaving.
- Our semi-private studio rooms (2) are divided up into 3 artists each (6 full-time artists in the space total).
- Full time access to your studio space throughout the week, 8am-9pm. You receive a key to the building.
- The gallery room is a community space, open to the public for gallery hours (W-F 2-6pm, subject to change), art classes, community events such as book clubs or First Fridays. We share a calendar to keep everyone up to date. The studio rooms are connected to the gallery space.
- We usually leave the studio doors open so clients can see your studio spaces like an open studio tour. You are encouraged to set up your studio space so clients can walk in and shop your products, and find contact info to follow your art journey.
- Rent is $350/mo plus an initial security deposit of $300 upon arrival (you will get this back after you leave with no damages done to the property) utilities included.
- Preference to those who are willing to open the gallery during the week to the public.
- The Vision Sanctuary asks 10% commission for any original artworks sold from resident artists at the gallery. You are welcome to use the community studio art materials and gallery space to host classes or community events, as long as the scheduled date has been approved.
- The Vision Sanctuary asks for 25% commission from events or classes.
After approval, we will sign a contract in person at the studio.
