Trunk or Treat will be on Friday, October 27th this year at the Daniel Boone Parking Lot. It is a safe and fun way for our Daniel Boone students and families to enjoy Halloween.  All families are welcome.  Students will go from car to car while they trick or treat!

Please remember, the school is only to be entered for emergency bathroom breaks.  Parents need not stay with their children while they trick or treat but a parent or someone responsible must stay on the premises during the event.  You are responsible for your child.  Please do not drop them off and return later to pick them up.

Participating Car Rules:

1. You must submit a registration form to participate.  Only properly registered vehicles will be allowed to pass out candy or small toys in the trick or treat area.

2. A parent must be with the vehicle at all times during the Trunk or Treat event for safety reasons.

3. All cars participating in the event can start setting up at 4:00PM and are to be in the school parking lot NO LATER THAN 5:15PM.  A volunteer will be there to assist you in where to park.  Vehicles must be prepared to stay until the event ends at 7:00pm.  For safety purposes, vehicles will not be permitted to move or leave the parking lot until the event is over.

4. For safety reasons, we ask that parents not wear masks that cover their entire face.  We must be able to recognize you.

5. We can not provide electrical support for your vehicle’s decorations.

6. Prizes will be awarded for the Best Overall Trunk (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)

7. Trick or Treaters will bring in candy to participate in the event.  This candy will be distributed between each vehicle.
