Board, Employee or Representatives Code of Conduct

The purpose and intent of Clackamas United Soccer Club’s (CUSC) philosophy is to promote the advancement of youth soccer in our area, to encourage the development of player skills and abilities, promote programs that teach individual and team skills and support the growth of trained coaches and referees. The goal and value of player participation is to have fun while playing soccer, to develop self-esteem and confidence through skill development while promoting a sense of fair play and good sportsmanship.

In order to promote a high level of community spirit, Clackamas United Soccer Club adopts the following Code of Conduct for all board members, employees and any individual representing the club.

Code of Conduct

Each board member, employee or club representative will abide in all respects by Clackamas United Soccer Clubs code of conduct and all other rules and regulations of the organization.
Individuals will conduct the business affairs of the organization in good faith and honestly, integrity, due diligence, and with reasonable competence.
Individuals will exercise proper authority and good judgement when dealing with organizational matters and the community in general. Individuals will respond to all in a responsible, respectable, and professional manner. Ridiculing or demeaning: abusive or profane language is not tolerated.
Each board member, employee or club representative will perform his or her assigned duties in a professional and timely manner, pursuant to rules, regulations, bylaws, and board direction.
Each board member, employee or club representative dedicates oneself to leading by example in serving the needs of our organization, our associations, and also in representing the best interests of the soccer players we serve.
Individuals must act at all times in the best interest of the organization and not for personal or third-party gain or financial enrichment. If there is a potential conflict of interest, individuals will identify the conflict and remove themselves from all discussion and voting on the matter.
All individuals must submit and pass a comprehensive criminal background check, renewed yearly.

All board members, employees or club representatives of Clackamas United Soccer Club shall always abide by the Club’s Code of Conduct. Inappropriate behavior that is determined to violate this Code of Conduct shall result in disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or termination.
