Perspectives of Speech Language Pathologists on the Assessment of Individuals with Bilingual Aphasia
You have been invited to participate in a research study. Before participating in this study, it is important that you take time to read and understand the information in this description.
The current study aims to explore the perspectives of Indian SLPs towards the assessment of bilingual aphasia.
Estimates suggest that more than half of the world’s population are at least bilingual. Speech-language pathologists are increasingly providing post-stroke rehabilitation to individuals from linguistic backgrounds that are different from their own. It can be particularly challenging to conduct language assessments with individuals with bilingual aphasia, especially given the limited research in this area.
The purpose of the study is to compile and determine the perspectives of Indian SLPs about the language assessment of individuals with bilingual aphasia.
I voluntarily agree to be a part of this research study, to follow the study procedures and to provide necessary information to the researcher as requested . I am aware that my participation does not fetch me any direct reward. *
