PhD student for a day
To all our enthusiastic PhD students at Sahlgrenska Academy!

During 2008 - 2010 and 2015 the program committee in Pharmacy offered pharmacy students the activity “PhD student for a day” (Doktorand för en dag) in order for them to get an insight and interest in the daily work as a researcher. This project is now organised by ''Students in research'' (SiF) and 2021 we expanded the project to involve all students at Sahlgrenska Academy!

According to surveys from previous years, this event has been greatly appreciated by the students, but also by the PhD students. In particular, the PhD students have appreciated to meet and explain their research to genuine, interested undergraduate students.

Students will be matched to PhD students by us and then you will together with the student decide on a day that suits you both.
A shorter survey will also be sent out to you PhD students in the end of the semester in order to evaluate this activity.

As a small token of our appreciation for your participation in this “PhD student for a day” event, diplomas will be awarded at the end of the project!
