Thank you for your interest in joining the Peary Community Garden! The Community Garden consists of 24 plots that are available for lease by residents of Gardena, employees of the City of Gardena, employees of Peary Middle School, and 501(3)(c) charitable organizations doing business in Gardena. Gardening here is a privilege, and we expect Members to respect the land, your fellow Members, our neighbors, and the rules outlined below. These garden rules will be reviewed regularly to ensure that they reflect the specific needs of the garden.
Location: Peary MS Campus 16060 Brighton Ave, Gardena CA (the corner of Normandie and 160th St.)The Peary Community Garden has 54 plots available for community use.
Only one plot will be assigned per household.
Plots are assigned contingent upon LAUSD volunteer application approval and on a first come first served basis.
If all plots have been assigned before your application is received, you will be placed on a waitlist.
