ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:
Integrative medicine lies in the convergence of conventional approaches and complementary therapies. Integration thereof allows for viewing healthcare issues in a comprehensive viewpoint. Current tendencies in medical science move towards evidence-based approach, thus it is important to seek and find robust scientific evidence and foundation in support of any treatment modality that enters clinical stage. Being a university that has undertaken the mission of academic teaching of all major medical disciplines, UTMA values integrative and evidence-based approach in medicine. This student conference will give a glimpse into the multidisciplinary overview of medical science as a whole. Students of the UTMA and other medical and biomedical universities of Armenia are cordially invited to participate, exchange ideas and share their insights. The Conference is organized by the UTMA Department of Science and the UTMA Student Scientific Society (UTMA SSS). In the framework of the Conference, a scientific debate will also be held, organized by the UTMA SSS.
