PARENT VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS:
Schedule and lead parent volunteer orientation days and act as liaison between parent volunteers and staff. Create and maintain document to keep track of volunteer hours for families. Schedule/plan seasonal parent volunteer appreciation days.

EVENT COORDINATORS:
Plan community, school family connection, family nights, birthday club, and events. Design and maintain a school calendar with a school wide listing of recurring and one time events. Volunteer at community events.

GARDEN COMMITTEE
Water beds, mounds and new plantings at farm. Make fertilizer tea once per week (guano/water) and feed plants on a rotating basis. Water seedlings. Organize seedling/nursery. Spread fresh mulch/chips around plant growth and exposed soil. Build raised garden beds. Turn compost pile. Make farm signs. Help with harvest.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH COMMITTEE
Identify potential community partners and contact to facilitate meaningful partnerships.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Help create a fundraising plan for Compass and work closely with the events and grant writing committee to focus high impact efforts.

FACEBOOK PARENT GROUP MANAGER
Invite existing parents to FB private group.  Share information such as reminders, positive message, school updates, events, tips, and more with group members.

PARENT EDUCATION COMMITTEE
Parent Ed is a small committee that works to bring speakers to Compass to talk on various parent education/child development topics that reflect and support the values and philosophy of the school.

BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE
The Beautification Committee helps to improve the Compass campus by organizing clean up days, greening up outdoor spaces and providing necessary repairs
