Shortly about the project:

We're a group of young and ambitious students at The Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, designing a handheld game system for a startup company. The company's slogan is "Helping people make games!" The idea is to create a console together with a bigger system that is specifically made for creating (no prior experience required) and playing your and your friends' games. The games are simple 2D games, (think retro games, see picture above.)

Instead of focusing on advanced functions it's about being creative within the boundaries. You create your games through the company's own Online Studio in a simplified programming language. They help you the whole way, from your first steps to the last. When you're done you can publish your game to the "app market" and let other people enjoy it!

Our task is to design the actual physical handheld console and we'd greatly appreciate your input!
