Introduction
The North American Brass Band Association is an organization dedicated to the promotion and development of the British-style brass band movement in North America. With bands and musicians covering the United States and Canada as well as ranging from school-age youth to senior citizens, NABBA has become a true force in the arena of amateur musicians and brass banding across North America and across the world. Any person interested in becoming a member of the Board of Directors is requested to complete the information below. If you have any questions, send an email to the NABBA President

. Board members serve three-year terms from July 1 to June 30.
The Board meets bi-annually. Various committees meet in between the full Board meetings. The nominating process and expectations are as follows:
Applications are sent to the President of NABBA (
pherak@nabba.org
) and the Operations Committee Associate Chair (
jestrada@nabba.org
).
The Nominations Committee will review each application and bring recommendations to the full Board for a vote.
All applications will remain securely on file with NABBA. If you are not selected for a Board position when you first apply, you may be contacted when openings occur to determine your continued interest and will be invited to reapply.
Board members will be expected to participate in at least one designated committee and to participate in NABBA functions during the year. Board members are expected to attend in person and virtual Board meetings throughout the year as well as other committee meetings / calls for vote, as necessary.
Board members are expected to attend and work at the annual contest. This will be scheduled around any performances you are involved in.
