Posters are an essential health education tool. In the changing era of education and health, designing effective posters will be a necessity and a valuable skill. Most of the conferences have Poster Presentation Sessions where students are encouraged to participate and share their knowledge with everyone. Since there is a lack of proper guidance in most institutions about designing a poster, we bring to you a unique workshop dedicated to the former!

200 students from eleven batches have been successful in learning the tips for designing and presentation since May 2020. The feedback has been very encouraging.

We started this workshop after receiving an excellent response on a lecture dedicated to Posters. Based on the response, we started conducting a Webinar based course for all undergraduate and postgraduate students from Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Pharmacy etc. It is open to all healthcare professionals.

The maximum number of students that can be admitted to one batch cannot be more than 25. Please register early as slots are booked very soon and seats are allotted on a first come first serve basis.

The course will have 4 classes(2 per week) starting 9th March which shall cover the following modules-

1. Basics of a Poster
2. Live Demonstration on designing a poster (Power Point)
3. Choose a topic and design a poster yourself
4. Discussion and Review of designed posters
5. Virtual Poster Presentation Session(Comments on ways to improve)

16th March
23rd March
30th March

Plus a Q-A session with each module.

You will learn about designing a Research and Classroom Poster both.

During and post the workshop, participants are encouraged to continue with discussions on a dedicated Whatsapp group. The participants should have a laptop / PC with a decent internet connection to be a part of the course. Microsoft Office 365 is recommended.

The course is intended to be a hands-on and interactive learning experience with both synchronous and non-synchronous learning methods.

Upon the successful completion of workshop, participants will receive certification as a PDF based certificate. Certificates will be given only to those who present a self-designed poster in the last module.

The Registration fee is Rs.2100 for every participant.
