2025-2026 Tiger Town Preschool Registration 
The Tiger Town preschool program is a full day educational program for four year old children. All Preschool teachers are licensed/certified by the Indiana Department of Education in Early Childhood Education. Our support staff receives training in First Aid, CPR, Communicable Diseases, and other related areas. Preschool is in session Monday through Friday and follows the Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools academic calendar.  Tuition is $540 per month ($30 per day), which is due by the 15th of each month. Before and after school childcare is also covered within the tuition. Before school starts at 7:00 AM. After school care is open until 6:00 PM.

Any student who is age four (4) by August 1, 2025, is eligible. Any student who is age five (5) by August 1, 2025, must register for Kindergarten. All eligible students must be toilet trained.  Students who reside in the Sunman Elementary School attendance area will be given first priority.  Any student who resides outside of Sunman Elementary's attendance zone will be given consideration if space permits. 

The deadline to register for Tiger Town is March 14, 2025.  Any registration received after March 14, 2025 will be placed on a waiting list.

Pre-Registration and Enrollment Timeline

November- The preschool sign-up link will be posted on the Sunman Elementary website. The link will close Friday, March 14th

End of March - Parents will be notified of acceptance into the preschool program.

April - Parents will come to Sunman Elementary to provide proof of residency, birth certificate, and immunization records.

June- Parents will receive a letter with instructions and a unique code to access the PowerSchool Parent Portal.  

July-Parents will complete the enrollment process in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.  

August- The first day of school is August 6, 2025 and is an orientation day only. Students will come with parents for about an hour and leave for the rest of the day. Students will attend the full day on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
